In Australia, there's a significant disparity in funding and support between men's and women's sports, with women's sports often facing inadequate resources, lower prize money, and less media coverage, despite growing participation and commercial potential. At a grassroots level, it’s worse with many women’s sports teams folding while their male counterparts flourish.
$10 from every hat sold will go directly to a grassroots women’s sports team, funding them to continue to run their leagues, games and develop the next generation of sports stars! Once the pre-sale has ended and we know how much many we’ve raised, we’ll send an email out with the amount we’ve been able to donate and the teams we’ve been able to donate to.
The last time we ran this presale, we donated $500 to Port Melbourne Chargerss, $500 to the Darebin Falcons and put $1000 in a Women's Sports Development Fund between Bad Luck Zizzy and Kyneton Women’s Sports Clubs for women and gender diverse teams to use to start clubs.
This hat is part of a PRESALE which will run from Thursday 13th November to Thursday 20th November. If you only order a hat, it will be sent out Friday 21st November. If you order with a t-shirt, it will be sent out at the end of the presale and may take up to two weeks including postage. Please bear with us as we do our best to send out orders.
